Card Challenge for Monday, February 28, 2022

 The card challenge this week uses the stamp set from the SWEET AS HONEY Cardmaking Workshop.  This workshop has sold out twice now, and is expected again mid-March.

You received everything you need (minus the card base) to make the second card with the 2 bees on it. This is one of the cards from the card kit, minus a few fussy things.  Of course, you don't have to make this card!

The top card is made using the pieces I sent you (the base white piece with the bee house, the ticket, and the bee) some torn pieces of charcoal card stock, and some honeycomb paper I found in my stash (Lynda paper, I think!).

Can't wait to see what you do with the pieces you received!

Card Challenge for Monday, February 14, 2022

 Hello!

The challenge this week was to make at least one card from the pieces I sent to you.  You received stamped images and greetings from the Sawyer Cardmaking Kit Stamp Set.  You also received a piece of Sawyer B&T paper, and a piece of Wisteria cardstock with a lace border (which used the thin cut from the kit stamp set).

Here are the cards I made from the pieces I sent you, with a little added here and there!

On this first card, I added some B&T paper from one of the older mix-in paper sets.  I also used an older Happy Birthday die from SOB.

On this second card, I added a strip of sugarplum cardstock.  I used an older edge die to make the scallop border.  I also used an older die to make the stich border across it.  The Happy Birthday is cut with the CTMH oval stitched die, and I have a small strip of sugarplum glitter paper across the top edge.  Also added some older CTMH glitter purple dots.

I can't wait to see what you have created!
