Challenge for Monday, January 25, 2021

 Happy snow day!!

So, for the challenge, you got three 4.25 x 5.5" pieces of card stock (ruby, thistle and hollyhock).  You also got two 4.25 x 5.5" pieces cut from the heart die, one white daisy and one bashful (I think).  That was several days ago... 😆 Anyway, I had to accept my own challenge, as I sent out the materials before I had a card idea.

So, here are the cards I made... the bear is from a retired MFT stamp set, and love die is MFT as well.  Everything else is CTMH.  The "love u" is cut from black glitter paper... I smeared stickles on the white hearts... oh, and the sending hugs is from the bear stamp set.

Challenge card for January 18, 2021

 Hello!

Here is the card I made with the pieces I sent you...

Sorry, I forgot to take a picture of the pieces.  You have everything in my card, except for the sun.  It is a 1" circle punched from canary card stock.  I used the coral tri-blend marker for the house and heart... the brown I think was earth brown...  I cut out the flowers after coloring them, and added them to the shrub to create a rose bush.  I also cut the dot paper using a hill die.  Am thinking it might have looked better to just put the whole "home sweet home" stamped on yellow over the house, and used the large home for something else... oh well, you have a chance to play and create your own masterpiece!

cardstock: heavenly blue (retired), white daisy, canary

Paper: X9009 Mix-in

Ink: Green apple, Intense black, Toffee

 Hello!

Those of you participating in the challenges should have gotten the following in the mail by now...

Supplies:

Stamp - Z3779 Wishing you Everything Stamp + Thin Cuts

B&T paper - Party Time

Cardstock - Raspberry, sapphire, white daisy (I also used green apple)

Ink - Lagoon, Archival Black, Sapphire

Here is the card I made...

I used the sapphire piece to mat the happy and birthday... I cut the background paper of presents in half corner to corner, and faced with a piece of green apple.  Any of the colors in the paper would work... depending on which side of the paper you use, the colors in the Party Time paper packet are: ballerina, glacier, green apple, lagoon, lemonade, nectarine, raspberry, sapphire, and of course, white daisy.

I am excited to see what everyone makes!
