Layout for Monday, January 21, 2018

Here is the layout for Monday night!

B&T paper: Something Fierce
Cardstock: Bluebird, White Daisy, Buttercup (retired)
Stamps:  D1827 Years of Sweetness
Ink: Candy Apple, Willow, Lemon, Canary
Other: Cricut Artbooking cut, assorted brads and punches

Note:  The whimsical flowers are made by punching circles and scalloped circles of different sizes from patterned paper, scrunching, then layering them.

Sorry, but I somehow got 2 different white papers on my layout.  I was using pieces that were already cut, and something got mixed in with my white daisy.  Yours will not look this way!

Cards for Monday, January 7, 2019

Here are the cards we will be doing Monday night...

Card #1:
In this card we revisit using stencils to create a background.
Cardstock: Sugarplum, White daisy
Stamps: B1653 Dandelion Wishes
Ink: Archival Black, Sugarplum
Embellishments: Sugarplum Glitter Gems
Stencil by Tim Holtz

Card #2:
This card is a fun fold card... not sure if you can tell from the photos... uses an 8-1/2 x 11 sheet of cardstock cut on the diagonal.  We will also revisit how to mask.
Cardstock: Willow, White daisy, Carolina, Bluebird
Stamps: C1749 Something Fierce - Cardmaking
Ink: Raspberry, Bluebird, Willow
Embellishments: Leaf dies SOB

This is how the card looks when opened... opens to the left, then top lifts up...

Showing front of card, folded open.

While this card does look more juvenile, I did make a similar card for my brother but instead of a dinosaur it had an alligator (he is a UF Alumni... big gators fan!) on it... he said it was "cute"... ???

Happy stamping!!!
