Terri's gathering... May 2, 2016

Well, it has been a wet and overcast day... perfect for stamping!  Seems I always wait until Sunday to start the cards or layout for Monday... guess I do better under pressure!  Seems that even if I start early, I never finish until it HAS to be done!

We have not used Georgie paper, so I thought I'd give it a try.  Another thing I have put off, since I don't have any children in my life, and it did look like baby paper to me.  I did make one "welcome baby" card, but the second card is an anniversary card.  Let me know what you think!

Card #1:
B&T paper: Georgie
Cardstock: Canary, White daisy
Stamps: S1605 Celebrate with Cake (May Stamp of the Month)
Ink:  Memento Black
Other:  Wink of Stella Black, journaling pen, Sinhan Markers (turquoise blue, leaf green, and golden yellow)

Card #2:
B&T paper: Georgie
Cardstock: Canary, Juniper, White daisy, and Slate (though I think we'll use whisper instead of slate!)
Stamps: B1505 Baby & Friends, and D1667 Balloon Wishes
Ink:  Memento Black, Juniper, and Canary
Other:  Liquid glass, Aqua glitter tape, and scallop border punch
Note:  You can't tell in the picture, but I put liquid glass on the baby rattle.  Also, I painted the rattle with Juniper and Canary ink (captured in the lid).

Terri won't be joining us, as she has to work.  She will be sending snacks, and also sends her thanks to everyone for ordering!

Happy stamping!
