Scrapbook layout for Monday, February 29th

This week we are using Charlotte... I know... again!!!

If you purchased the Charlotte Workshop Your Way, (or any of the Workshop Your Ways) remember to go to the Close To My Heart website and get the free download workshop guide.  The guide includes patterns, photos, tips and cutting diagrams to walk you through creating all four layouts as well as the additional cardmaking project.

That said, we are not doing any of those... this layout uses Pattern #11, from Make It from Your Heart, Volume 2.  Special thanks to Gail Gross (greetingsfromgail.blogspot.com) for the design.  I made a few changes, but it is very similar to her layout design.

Supplies used:

Cardstock:  White daisy, Black, Sorbet, Pear, and Whisper

Stamps: D1635 Assorted Edges, S1511 (retired stamp of the month), D1451 Trellis (retired),  D1683 Woodland Romance, C1641 Springtime Wishes and coordinating THIN CUTS Z3201

Ink:  Black and Sorbet

Embellishments: Black Fundamental Assortment, Coral Shimmer Trim, Black Shimmer Trim, sequins, black Wink of Stella

Cards for February 15, 2016

I can't believe it is February, and so warm!  My thoughts have gone to spring, which led me to some (but not all!) brighter colors.  I apologize, as both of these cards are fussy!!!

Card #1:
Card stock: sweet leaf, colonial white, cranberry, and cashmere
Stamps: S1602 Balloon Animals (February stamp of the month), C1643 Stuck on You, and B1123 Spunky Greetings (retired)
Ink: Chocolate, cashmere, sweet leaf, black
Other: black journaling pen, bitty sparkles, red enamel gems, carmine shinhan marker, black shinhan marker, kraft card base/envelope

This card was inspired by www.ArtsyMargi.com.  Totally stole her idea to make the balloon monkey into a sock monkey!  I read that sock monkeys are considered good luck, so what is more lucky than a sock monkey with a 4-leaf clover?!?

Stampes: C1641 Springtime Wishes ( with Z3201 Springtime Wishes THIN CUTS), CC1060 Share the Love

Ink: Black, slate sorbet

Other: Coral shimmer trim, black waxy flax (retired), scallop border punch, tag from my stash
